NOBCChE Gulf Coast Chapter was formed in 1983. Since then NOBCChE has maintained and supported national, regional and local programs that assist African American scientists in fully realizing their academic and professional potential. The organization has promoted achievement in science and technology as viable goals to elementary, middle and high school students. NOBCChE has encouraged college students to purse higher educational degrees in science and engineering. Without the efforts of our members we could not be where we are today.

NOBCChE is grateful for the exceptional commitment and support of its members. Their time, talent and leadership have made the Gulf Coast Chapter of NOBCChE an asset to the community.
